The first trend is the rise of AI in video production. Artificial intelligence is revolutionizing how we create content, making it faster and more personalized than ever before. From scripting to editing, AI tools are helping creatives like us deliver high-quality content with a touch of innovation. I'm personally keeping my eye on Sora, the new video-ai model from OpenAI, the same company that created ChatGPT. It is shockingly good in its early stages, and opens up a lot of possibilities for highly specified b-roll for clients with niche focus areas. It's not open to the public yet, but when it is, we will be exploring it as a tool for our workflows here.

In my last video, I talked about the “hook” in the beginning of your video, and how simple is often better than flashy and over the top. This right here, is why. You can also try and leverage the “simplicity effect.” People tend to underestimate how hard an idea was to pull off when that idea is executed efficiently and precisely.

This isn't really a trend as much as it is a fact of life at this point, but short-form content continues to dominate the digital landscape. Platforms like TikTok and Instagram Reels have shown us that concise, engaging videos can have a massive impact, capturing attention in just a few seconds. Repurposing longer form content is also key here, if maximizing volume is part of your outreach strategy.
#4: Educational Content Rises
Educational videos are on the rise, providing value beyond just selling a product or service. By sharing expertise and insights, businesses are positioning themselves as thought leaders and building trust with their audience. This is what I'm doing right now.

Lastly, SEO isn't just for articles anymore. Optimizing your videos for search engines is crucial for visibility. Using the right keywords, descriptions, and tags can skyrocket your content to the top of search results. A healthy Google Ads campaign doesn't hurt either, with platforms like YouTube being able to pull a lot of traffic for minimal initial investment.
